"I know what I've got to do to beat Nadal and I am very focused on the game already," said Murray. "He's for sure the best player in the world on clay and he's getting better and better on grass every year. There are no real weaknesses in his game and he's probably the toughest competitor on the tour. But I think my win over Gasquet was maybe a real turning point in my career and for me at Wimbledon.

"So che cosa devo fare per battere Nadal e sono già molto concentrato sul match" ha detto Murray. "Lui è sicuramente il più forte giocatore del mondo sulla terra battuta ed è sempre migliore anche sull'erba, ogni anno. Non ci sono delle reali debolezze nel suo gioco ed è probabilmente il competitore più accanito del circuito. Però penso che la mia vittoria su Gasquet possa costituire realmente un punto di svolta della mia carriera, e per me a Wimbledon".
