TENNIS – Djokovic played his best match of the year annihilating Roddick 6-2 6-1. He will play Hewitt next who won against Cilic 6-4 7-5. Murray defeated Nieminen 6-2 6-4. In the third round the Scot will face Baghdatis who won against Gasquet 6-4 6-4. Tsonga and Raonic played an endless match. The Frenchman won 6-3 3-6 25-23, breaking two Olympic records.

Venus and Masha through to the third round
TENNIS – Venus Williams demolishes Canada's Wozniak 6-1 6-3. She will play Kerber next. Sharapova eliminated Robson 7-6 6-3 and will play Lisicki in the third round. Azarenka defeated Martinez Sanchez 6-1 6-2.

Kohlschreiber breaks into the top 20
