Maria Sharapova forfait a Parigi

Come ormai tutti si aspettavano, Maria Sharapova si ritira dal torneo di Parigi.

Questo l'annuncio ufficiale:

« Comme vous le savez, je suis malade depuis le week-end dernier ( une bronchite virale). J’ai demandé au médecin de revenir ce matin, finalement selon son avis, je dois déclarer forfait cette année à l’Open GDF SUEZ. Je suis vraiment désolée de me retirer du tournoi que je souhaitais réellement jouer cette année, après avoir reçu une wild card. J’ai vraiment tout fait pour être prête, malheureusement, je ne suis pas en mesure de jouer. Je voudrais présenter mes excuses à mes fans et remercier le tournoi d’être aussi compréhensif et de m’avoir soutenu. »
