Safina longs for pain-free existence
TENNIS - After her brother's informal announcement, Dinara Safina wants to wait a little bit longer to officially put an end to her professional career, but her focus is now on recovering from the back pains that have been hassling her for the past two years. "Sometimes you just want to hit once a week - she said - but unfortunately I can't even do this. When I think back, what I did in a year and a half, I mean, no one ever believed that I could be No. 1 in the world. I hope I can be an example for young girls, that if you work hard, you can reach everything." Ravi Ubha (ESPN)
